Sr. Engineer Electrical Design (Wiring Harness)

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Experience in 2- D/ 3-D harness design in Automotive electrical circuits. Experience in Creo Schematic, 2D/3D Auto Cad, Vesys, Capital XC Ability to design & develop wire harness for Engine wiring harness & modify existing designs, propose new concepts for wiring design Good awareness to Routing Design and Industry best practices, Choice of Protective Coverings & its application method in a given environment Knowledge of components used for wiring harness design, wire types & its selection Ability to prepare and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Good awareness of Harness Manufacturing and in particular have exposure to Engine Harness Design / Development Has knowledge to conduct Fit Checks, and Able to attend / conduct 3D CAD Design Reviews for Virtual Validation. Able to come up with design changes to resolve conflicts. Should have awareness to the DVP&R and DFMEA activities related to harness and interconnects. Executing projects independently under minimal supervision Work against the schedule of design programs and produce required deliverables Interact with suppliers to drive design requirements to be released in product. Positive attitude and highest integrity. Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work. Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team. Demonstrate good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English, and proficiency with MS Office tools.
