Sr. Electrical Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer at Khatib & Alami (K&A), you will be responsible for independently handling multiple high-rise buildings and leading a team of 5-6 engineers. Your role will require sound knowledge of Gulf codes such as DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, ADDC, KSA, as well as international standards like IEC and BS. Experience in client-facing interactions is essential, along with proficiency in tools such as Revit, Dialux Evo, and ETAP system studies. Your expertise in sectors including hospitals, hospitality, residential, and commercial projects will be crucial. You should excel in space planning and coordination with various services such as mechanical, structural, architectural, and infrastructure. A background in consultancy services is a prerequisite, and you should be prepared to relocate to Bangalore, with occasional travels to GCC countries. In this role, you will be involved in report preparation, feasibility studies, and specifications. Strong presentation skills are essential, as you will interact with designers, architects, and structural engineers to oversee work progress and provide innovative solutions. The qualifications required include a BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics or Power Systems, along with 7-16 years of relevant experience.
