Sr. Devops / DevSecOps Engineer For Pune

Role & responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure in Azure Cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Manage and optimize AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and containerized workloads using Docker.
• Configure and administer Linux (Ubuntu) servers across environments.

CI/CD & Automation

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows and automation tools.
• Integrate security scanning and compliance checks into pipelines (DevSecOps best practices).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep).

Data & Middleware Infrastructure

• Deploy and manage Kafka clusters for real-time data streaming.
• Maintain Apache NiFi pipelines for data ingestion and processing.
• Manage MinIO object storage deployments for scalable data storage solutions.
• Administer Apache Spark clusters for distributed data processing.
• Configure and maintain Redis clusters for caching and performance optimization.
• Deploy and support Trino (PrestoSQL) for distributed query processing.
• Support Apache Superset dashboards for data visualization and analytics.
• Administer MongoDB clusters and ensure backup, replication, and performance tuning.
• Manage PostgreSQL (PGSQL) databases including installation, replication, query optimization, and HA setups.

Monitoring & Security

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud and on-prem workloads.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and role-based

access.

• Collaborate with security teams to strengthen DevSecOps practices acro ss environments.

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with development, data engineering, and security teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Provide troubleshooting support for cloud services, container workloads, and middleware components.
• Document best practices, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 7 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering roles (DevSecOps preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (VMs, VNets, Storage, IAM, Networking, Monitoring).
• Proficiency with AKS, Docker, and containerized workloads.
• Experience managing Kafka clusters, Spark clusters, Redis clusters in production environments.
• Hands-on with NiFi, MinIO, Superset, Trino administration.
• Solid understanding of Linux (Ubuntu) system administration.
• Strong experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices: secrets management, vulnerability scanning, RBAC, and compliance automation.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work in an Agile/DevOps culture.
• Documentation and knowledge-sharing mindset.
