Sr. Development Engineer - Python QA

As a Senior Development Engineer - Python Automation at Barco Control Rooms in Barco NOIDA, you will be a part of the BCR Software Development group at Barco, aiming to offer successful software solutions and outcomes that delight customers in dynamic markets. You will work in the Barco Control Rooms business unit, which has been providing workflow and visualization solutions for the Control Room market since 1994, with a focus on helping operators collect, visualize, and share critical information for optimal decision-making. Your role will involve collaborating with product owners and scrum team members to define the system automation framework and improvements. You will design and develop a robust automation framework, gain a deep understanding of the Barco control room product, and continuously learn and promote best practices in system automation. Additionally, you will actively participate in validation activities with the QA team, work with cross-functional teams across multiple groups and geographies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, timely product releases. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.E/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in automation testing of enterprise software products using Python and various frameworks. Strong proficiency in Python programming, experience in designing automation framework architecture, and familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, PyTest, and JMeter are required. You should also have experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, version control systems like Git, container-based application deployment, Docker, and DevOps practices. Additionally, you should be self-motivated, a team player, result-oriented, a critical thinker, and a problem solver, with excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
