Description
As a Developer III - Software Engineering at UST, you will play a crucial role in translating business goals into technical requirements, conducting code/design reviews, and driving the technical implementation of web projects throughout their lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web, mobile, and eCommerce solutions that align with business needs. You will collaborate with Visual Design and User Experience teams to create effective and engaging designs. Additionally, you will own and drive specific areas of website functionality, such as search, products, account, videos, and web site performance, by developing and enhancing features for these areas. To excel in this role, you must be an expert in designing and developing Adobe AEM applications, encompassing both front-end and back-end development. Your expertise should extend to coding front-end standards-compliant HTML/CSS, ensuring scalability and cross-browser compatibility. Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and related technologies is essential. You should also have experience with Akamai CDN technology, specifically in configuration changes and maintaining applications using Akamai CDN. Knowledge of the web project lifecycle and experience working with AEM content management systems are required. Moreover, hands-on experience in Java Content Repository suite, Sling web framework, Apache Felix OSGi framework, DAM, and Workflows is preferred. Bonus points if you are familiar with continuous deployment and DevOps tools, have experience working in agile/scrum environments, and possess excellent communication, analytical, presentation, problem-solving skills.
