Job Title: Sr. Designer, Physical Design

Location: Pune

Job Purpose:

Role & responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 3D models in latest versions of AutoCAD & Advance Steel tool.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings in latest versions of AutoCAD & Advance Steel tool.
• 2D drawing extraction from Advance Steel 3D model. Create accurate structural connection details in accordance with engineering standards and project requirements along with company standards
• Review and verify the accuracy of drawings before submission.
• Review shop drawings.
• Expert in fabrication and erection processes
• Ensure all drafting work complies with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
• Familiarity with clash detection and model coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks).
• Ownership of creating standard BOM & material releases. Generate Bill of Material for estimation.
• Involvement in General arrangement drawings, verify feasibility of maintenance & erection/assembly requirements.
• Maintain drawing records and ensure version control and consistency across projects.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers, project team, and fabrication teams.
• Participating in project meetings to discuss project requirements, design and drafting issues.

Preferred candidate:

• profile Minimum of 5 years work experience as a structural draftsman or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of structural standards , construction practices & proficient in structural engineering & Autodesk tools.
• Good Communication In English (Written & Verbal ) Ready for Business travel in India & Overseas Good Team Player, Adaptive to Change Self-Starter , Team-Player.

• Familiar with EPC/Oil & Gas/Industrial Projects like Power, Pipe Racks, Platforms
• Knowledge of AISE, Eurocode, IS codes
• Mandatory: Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Acceptable: BE Civil Engineering'
