Sr. DBA (SQL | MySQL)

The IT Services industry is looking for a Database Administrator in Chandigarh, India, with 6-8 years of work experience. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for database tuning, performance monitoring, maintenance, and optimization. Your duties will include the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Microsoft SQL Server software and related products. You will establish and maintain backup and recovery policies, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide consultation to development teams. Additionally, you will implement and maintain database security by creating and managing users and roles, as well as assigning privileges. Ideal candidates should have strong skills in SQL, MySQL, database tuning, Microsoft SQL Server configuration, and IAS. A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is required. Experience with both SQL and MySQL is preferred.
