Description
As a Senior Database Architect with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-level database solutions. Your expertise in RDBMS, data modeling, database design, migration, indexing, and performance optimization will be crucial for success in this role. Proficiency in Erwin Data Modeler is mandatory, and a solid understanding of NoSQL databases, disaster recovery strategies, and large-scale data management is highly desirable. Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable, high-performance database solutions for enterprise applications. You will utilize Erwin Data Modeler for conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, as well as version control. Working closely with stakeholders, you will translate requirements into optimized database designs and execute data migration scripts to ensure seamless data transfer. Architecting enterprise-level database solutions to handle large datasets efficiently and implementing indexing strategies for improved query performance and storage optimization will also be part of your role. You will be expected to apply database optimization techniques to enhance performance and scalability and design disaster recovery strategies to ensure high availability and data integrity. Working with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases, you will optimize data models for different use cases and collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement best practices in database management. The ideal candidate for this role will have 10+ years of experience in database architecture, design, and optimization. Strong hands-on experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) is required. Proficiency in Erwin Data Modeler, strong understanding of indexing techniques, query optimization, and data partitioning, as well as experience in enterprise-level database design and managing large datasets are essential. Additionally, expertise in database migration scripts, disaster recovery, high availability, backup strategies, and database optimization techniques is necessary for success in this role.,
