Sr. Data Engineer (CP4D)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL workflows using IBM DataStage and Cloud Pak for Data to support data warehouse and analytics needs.
• Support building data warehouse models and data flows that meet business requirements while ensuring all stages are aligned to deliver accurate information.
• Validate data quality, integrity, and security across all processing checkpoints to ensure a consistent and secure data environment.
• Coordinate cross-application database changes with internal and client teams to ensure updates are tested and deployed without downstream disruption.
• Advise client teams on CP4D best practices and governance for DB2 Warehouse Gen 3, DataStage, and Watson Query based on project requirements.
• Apply hands-on expertise in CP4D to guide platform architecture and optimize pipeline designs.
• Provide senior-level guidance on complex deployment challenges and technical design escalations.
