Job Description

As a Software Architect at Adobe, you will be instrumental in defining and evolving the architectural vision and roadmap for the products. Your role involves ensuring alignment with business goals, providing proactive thought leadership, designing and overseeing the implementation of highly scalable distributed systems, driving the technical delivery of AI-powered features, exploring and implementing AI solutions, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration within the engineering organization. Key Responsibilities: - Define and evolve architectural vision and roadmap for products - Ensure alignment with business goals - Provide proactive thought leadership - Design and oversee implementation of highly scalable distributed systems - Drive technical delivery of AI-powered features - Explore and implement AI solutions - Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration within the engineering organization Qualifications Required: - Passion and love for software development - 14+ years of experience in software development - 5+ years in a software architect role - Deep expertise in designing and implementing highly scalable architectures - Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Rest Services, MySQL or Postgres, MongoDB, Kafka - Experience with cloud technologies like AWS and/or Azure - Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, particularly Generative AI (GenAI) and Agents - Strong business acumen - Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills - Self-motivation and ability to mentor a team towards high-quality deliverables - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field If you are seeking to join a team of passionate engineers at Adobe, drive technical excellence, and contribute to shaping the technology stack of next-gen products and offerings, then this Software Architect position is an ideal fit for you.
