Sr. Backend Engineer (Python)

As a skilled back-end developer, you will be joining a growing team and utilizing your technical expertise and analytical mindset to design and develop mission-critical applications and infrastructure. You should feel comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with a team. Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. - Implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. - Analyze data to optimize product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies. - Develop custom data models and algorithms for data sets. - Ensure security and data protection. - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders. - Fulfill other assigned duties. Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of programming experience in Python. - Proficiency in Python 2.x/3.x, pandas, NumPy, sklearn, matplotlib, jupyter/vs-code, and SQL. - Experience in coding Python for medium to large-scale projects and an SDK. - Strong coding, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Hands-on design and development experience for customer-facing applications with high availability, concurrency, multi-tenancy, and scalability. - Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals. - Ability to work with relational (e.g., table dumps), non-relational (e.g., JSON), and unstructured data. - Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. - Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Proficient in managing web applications on Linux. - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.,
