Sr. Azure Data Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain data processing pipelines using various Azure data technologies. You will be expected to be fully conversant with big data processing approaches and schema-on-read methodologies. Your role will involve working on ETL/ELT pipelines within Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Pipelines to support reporting solutions like Power BI and Tableau. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain data processing pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse. - Utilize Databricks with PySpark for efficient data processing and analysis. - Implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines within Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Pipelines. - Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth functioning of data pipelines and reporting solutions. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure data technologies and implement best practices in data engineering. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a strong understanding of Advance SQL. - Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks with PySpark. - Knowledge of Azure Synapse will be an added advantage. - Hands-on experience in developing and coding using languages like Python (especially PySpark), SQL, and Power BI DAX. - Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen 2) is preferred. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality solutions. Please note that this job is full-time with a shift timing of 11 am to 8 pm.
