Sr. Automation Engineer- Java and Selenium- Bangalore

As a Senior Automation Engineer with 7-10 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Your primary responsibility will be to execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects to the development team. Collaborating with developers to understand software requirements and design test strategies will be essential. You must have strong Java experience and proficiency in Selenium RestAssured. Experience in product-based companies is a must for this role. Additionally, familiarity with SAAS-based product programming languages and concepts will be beneficial. While Python experience is not mandatory, having created scripts and built automation in Python will be advantageous. Experience in API testing, including testing APIs of the backend and response validation, as well as familiarity with UI automation tools, will be considered a plus. In this role, you will continuously enhance test automation frameworks and improve test coverage. Working in an Agile/Scrum development environment, you will participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies is also expected of you. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. With over 7 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or in a similar role, you should possess a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Your ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and tests will be crucial to your success in this position.
