Role Overview: Join a hands-on team at Amgen building the next generation of AI-enabled Procurement. As a Senior Associate, Digital Intelligence & Enablement, you will play a crucial role in combining data engineering and Generative AI skills to transform use cases into reliable products. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining pipelines, implementing GenAI capabilities, shipping pilots, hardening for production, partnering with various teams, and documenting processes. Key Responsibilities: - Build the data backbone by developing and maintaining pipelines from ERP/P2P, CLM, supplier, AP, and external sources into governed, analytics/AI-ready datasets. - Implement GenAI capabilities such as retrieval-augmented generation, prompts/chains, and lightweight services/APIs for various procurement processes. - Ship pilots, measure value, and contribute to 8-12 week pilots with clear baselines, telemetry, and dashboards. - Harden the products for production by packaging code, automating CI/CD, adding evaluation and observability, and supporting incident triage. - Partner with category teams, AI/ML platform, IT Architecture, Security/Privacy, and vendors; produce clear runbooks and user guides. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in data engineering/analytics/ML engineering delivering production-grade pipelines and services. - Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with ETL/ELT tools and cloud data platforms. - Practical exposure to GenAI/LLMs, APIs/integration, version control, testing, and CI/CD. - Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across business, data, and engineering teams.
