As an Agile Developer at Standard Chartered, you will be responsible for developing user stories, test cases, and solutions in a collaborative environment. Your role will involve working in an agile setting with peer reviews of design and code, collaborating with product owners, researching new technologies, and overseeing the code through testing and deployment. Key Responsibilities: - Possess at least 10+ years of experience in Micro service API development using Java frameworks - Develop REST and SOAP APIs - Administer and develop APIs for in-house and third-party applications, including Trading Networks - Hands-on experience in docker-based environments like Kubernetes or Openshift - Manage the entire process from discovery to production deployment - Perform performance tuning and testing using tools like JMeter - Ensure adherence to Agile practices and coach the team as needed - Engage and collaborate with various technology teams within the organization - Knowledge of Postgres or Oracle relational databases is advantageous In addition to the technical responsibilities, a successful candidate should: - Have hands-on experience in Spring Boot and API development - Demonstrate strong knowledge in Agile Development practices - Possess a minimum of 10 years of software development experience - Show passion for technology and ability to work in a team-oriented environment - Exhibit excellent communication skills and analytical abilities - Be ready to work on both development and project management tasks - Contribute to the creation of standards and frameworks for projects - Handle multiple projects simultaneously and prepare architecting solutions documents Qualifications: - Java - Spring Boot - Database (Oracle/Postgres) - OCP/Docker - Linux - GIT/JIRA/ADO - Maven/Gradle - JUnit/Test Cases - ADO About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive impact for its clients, communities, and employees.
