Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Cyber Security Software Engineer with expertise in threat detection, malware analysis, and network security. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Python development, network packet research and inspection, and knowledge of OT technologies such as SCADA and PLC.

Our cutting-edge technology aims to provide robust protection and enhance the security of critical infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced solutions to safeguard against cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and availability of OT systems.

As a Senior Cyber Security Software Engineer at Honeywell, you will be part of a team developing software solutions to monitor and detect cybersecurity attacks and incidents in real-time in the OT (Operational Technology) world.

Join us in this role and contribute to the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions that have a direct impact on the safety and security of industrial operations.

- Bachelor s degree from a reputable university in Israel in a technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of development experience in high-level programming languages (C++, Python, Java, Node, etc.).

- 2+ years of industry experience as a Python software developer.

- Hands-on experience working and analyzing network traffic with tools such as Wireshark.

- Experience in network attack analysis, e.g., network signature development (with tools such as Suricata).

- Strong research, technical analysis, and communication skills.

- Able to work independently with limited guidance.

- Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS.

- Advantage: previous experience working in cybersecurity software companies / army units.
