Do you have a passion for quality and a successful track record of automating test packs in an agile environment We are currently seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing a test automation strategy, designing, managing, and automating test packs, as well as collaborating with a team of automation engineers to manage, monitor, and improve the infrastructure. You will thrive in a fast-paced agile software development environment and engage with stakeholders at all levels across IT teams and product owners, including international locations. It is essential to adhere to the bank-wide test strategy regarding standards across test tooling, processes, and frameworks. The eDiscovery Team in Pune is where you will be working. With the increasing complexity of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry, our role is to design and implement innovative IT solutions to track these requirements and provide stakeholders with the necessary information for compliance. Our global IT team spans across the US, UK, Switzerland, and India, supporting internal clients worldwide. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 4 years of professional software testing experience with hands-on automation skills. Proficiency in agile development methodology, Selenium with Core Java, BDD using Cucumber Syntax, CI/CD pipelines (preferably in Gitlab), and testing process and test management tools like Squash or QC/ALM are essential. You should also demonstrate a strong track record in maintaining test assets, analytical abilities to translate requirements into well-written test cases, and experience with databases and SQL.
