Job Description

SQL Developer with Power BI expertise

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI Development:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and paginated reports
Build robust data models, measures, and calculated columns using
DAX
Implement role-level security and performance-tune visuals and datasets

Database Development:

Write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, views, and functions (MS SQL Server & PostgreSQL)
Collaborate on data warehouse architecture using
star/snowflake schemas
Load, transform, and validate data from multiple sources as needed
Develop and manage
ETL packages
, ensuring data quality, consistency, and lineage

Required Skills:

2+ years of hands-on experience in
Power BI development
Strong command of
Microsoft SQL Server
and
PostgreSQL
Proficiency in
DAX
and Power BI data modeling
Experience with
ETL design
, implementation, and data validation
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with large datasets and data performance tuning
Exposure to financial or market data analytics
