ParcelX is looking for a PHP/Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to building scalable, high-performance backend systems for our shipping aggregation platform. The ideal candidate should have expertise in PHP, jQuery, GitHub, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, SQL, Node.js, and React.js to develop and optimize our backend infrastructure. This role requires problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of database management, and the ability to work collaboratively with frontend developers to create seamless user experiences. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, and CakePHP for ParcelX's shipping platform. Design and manage SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and smooth transactions. Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate React.js and jQuery for a seamless user experience. Build and manage RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange between services. Implement security best practices to protect user data and prevent vulnerabilities. Work with GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaboration. Utilize Node.js where necessary to enhance backend functionality and scalability. Debug, test, and optimize backend applications for performance and reliability. Stay updated with the latest backend development trends and technologies to continuously improve ParcelXs systems.
