Role & responsibilities Design the non-standard gear boxes with study of application Engineering (Based on the specifications - Understanding the product requirements / Reverse Engineering / Develop from the drawings that are available) & based on the proven designs already available with SGL. Review and approve the designs developed by the team. Coordinate with the Marketing team and based on the proposal develop a new capability / new product which in addition to the current portfolio of SGL. Tools & Software's: Auto CAD/ SolidWorks & KISSsoft Software. Prototype & Simulation: Assist in Prototype testing and analyze gear performance through simulations to enhance life and reliability. Material Selection: Work with material experts to choose & procure right material for various applications Preferred candidate profile Experience in designing Industrial Gear box for applications like Steel, Cement, Rolling Mills, Mining, Extruder, Crane Experience in Designing Helical, Bevel, Bevel-Helical, Planetary, Spur, Worm Gear Boxes
