As a Senior Software Engineer Testing at Mastercard, you will have the opportunity to contribute to building a sustainable and inclusive global economy. Your role involves designing and defining an effective test automation strategy for your SCRUM team to validate application functionality and performance. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality products and incremental value delivery through requirements review, developing test scripts, and performing automated and manual exploratory testing. Additionally, you will own end-to-end product quality, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the development of test strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and define an effective test automation strategy for your SCRUM team - Coordinate requirements review and testing activities to deliver high-quality products - Document test plans and acceptance criteria using JIRA, Rally, or similar tools - Develop test scripts and perform automated and manual exploratory testing - Own responsibility for end-to-end product quality, defect management, status reporting, and metrics creation - Mentor newer team members and share business and product knowledge **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in automated Unit and Integration testing of java services and batch applications - Experience testing across web and mobile user interfaces, APIs (REST and SOAP), and/or data warehouse reports - Expertise in automation frameworks using Java8, JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber/JBehave, Soap UI/Pro, REST, JSON, XML, Eclipse IDE - Good knowledge of Spring API and event-based services testing - Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing, creating acceptance and integration test automation scripts - Exposure to Continuous integration, Delivery, and tools desirable - Understanding of Spring services and event-based architecture At Mastercard, you will work in an inclusive culture where employees are valued, respected, and encouraged to bring their authentic selves to work.
