As a Retail Inventory Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth operations at various store locations by closely monitoring inventory, sales updates, and store opening/closing procedures. You will be required to provide the retailer with an opening/closing sheet each morning to confirm timely operations at all locations. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating sales information every 2 hours and conducting regular inventory scans to identify any deficits. In cases where missing inventory is detected, you will communicate with the store manager to address the issue promptly. It will be your duty to ensure that any missing items are located, or the cost will be charged back to the store employees. Furthermore, you will be in charge of monitoring sales deposits and communicating any shortages to the store manager via email or telephone. You will also be conducting spot checks at each store multiple times a day to assess the sales representatives" interactions with customers. This includes observing whether products are being offered to customers for purchase.
