You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering French lessons that align with the curriculum and academic standards. Your role will involve creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment to foster active learning. Additionally, you will be required to develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments, while monitoring and evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback. Organizing language activities such as role plays, group discussions, and cultural programs will be part of your duties. It is essential to maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance. Collaboration with other language and subject teachers for interdisciplinary learning is also expected. Your involvement in school events, staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences is vital. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's/Masters degree in French, Education, or a related field and possess certification in French Language Proficiency (DELF/DALF or equivalent preferred). Prior teaching experience in a school setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in both written and spoken French and English is required, along with strong classroom management and communication skills. The ability to utilize technology and digital tools for teaching purposes is essential, as well as a passion for teaching and student development. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and experience in conducting co-curricular activities related to French language and culture.
