Job Description Design Engineer (Exterior Trim) Company: HindujaTech Location: Pune Job Highlights Experience in exterior trims, tailgate, and spoiler design . Proficiency in CATIA V5 . Exposure to automotive plastic & sheet metal component development . Responsibilities Design and develop exterior trim components (trims, tailgates, spoilers) from concept to production. Create and validate 3D CAD models, drawings, and BOMs using CATIA. Conduct feasibility studies, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up for robust design. Collaborate with styling, BIW, manufacturing, and suppliers for design integration. Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and timing (QCT) targets. Support DFM/DFA, tooling feasibility, and resolve design issues during development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering. 37 years of experience in exterior trim design & development. Strong skills in CATIA V5, GD&T, DFMEA, DFM/DFA . Good understanding of OEM standards & development lifecycle. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
