Position Overview The Tendering Executive/Manager is responsible for managing the entire tendering process, from identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and submitting tenders, to ensuring compliance with client requirements. This role requires strong coordination, documentation, pricing, and negotiation skills to secure profitable contracts for the company. Key Responsibilities Tender Identification & Tracking Monitor government portals, private websites, and other sources for relevant tenders. Maintain a database of tenders, submission deadlines, and results. Tender Preparation & Submission Review tender documents and understand project scope, requirements, and eligibility. Prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with client specifications. Coordinate with internal departments (sales, finance, operations, legal) for required inputs. Ensure timely submission of tenders in physical or online formats. Documentation & Compliance Collect, verify, and maintain statutory and legal documents required for tender participation. Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and government regulations. Handle EMD (Earnest Money Deposit), bank guarantees, and other financial instruments. Costing & Pricing Prepare cost estimations, quotations, and pricing strategies in consultation with management. Analyze competitor pricing and market trends. Ensure competitive yet profitable pricing. Client & Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with clients, consultants, and government bodies for clarifications on tender requirements. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits. Follow up on tender results and feedback. Reporting & Analysis Maintain records of submitted tenders, outcomes, and win/loss analysis. Provide regular reports to management on tender status and progress. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of tendering procedures (government & private). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and online tender portals (GeM, CPPP, e-procurement portals). Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines with accuracy. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.. 2–7 years of experience in tendering, bidding, or contracts management (depending on role level).
