As a Lead Release Management Engineer at Citrix, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end release process for the Citrix CVAD Product suite. Your expertise in cross-functional technical program management will enable you to effectively track and report deliverables, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with Citrix's objective of being a mission-critical product solution provider. Collaborating closely with the Release Manager, you will drive strategic cross-functional programs to ensure high-quality, feature-rich product releases at a predictable cadence. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a release schedule, coordinating with stakeholders to define release scope, managing the release process from planning to deployment, overseeing quality assurance, and identifying, assessing, and mitigating release risks. You will work on implementing best practices, continuous improvements, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders. Utilizing tools for version control, CI/CD, and release automation will be essential in ensuring compliance on shipped binaries. In addition to managing the release process, you will provide support for resolving release-related customer issues, gather feedback for future improvements, and collaborate closely with engineering, QA, support, and product management teams to ensure smooth execution. Your role will involve driving cross-functional initiatives, identifying risks and obstacles, managing collaboration between teams, and creating detailed program plans to track progress and dependencies. To be successful in this role, you should have expertise in using Atlassian tools for project tracking, agile project management, and be familiar with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in version control tools like Git/GitHub, CI/CD tools like Jenkins/TeamCity, and data visualization tools like Splunk/Grafana is required. Strong communication skills, technical understanding, and the ability to manage trade-offs and evaluate new technologies are essential for this position. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required for this role. Optional certifications in Agile frameworks and knowledge of front-end web technologies can be beneficial.
