You will be joining our spice manufacturing team as an NPD Executive within the R&D / New Product Development (NPD) department. Reporting to the Head NPD / GM Operations, your primary role will involve developing new spice blends, seasoning mixes, marinades, and other value-added spice-based products. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire process from concept creation to commercialization, working closely with R&D, production, marketing, and QA teams. Your key responsibilities will encompass activities such as formulating new spice blends, conducting lab trials, evaluating raw materials, performing sensory evaluations, and ensuring compliance with FSSAI and food safety regulations. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining essential documentation, supporting customer sample development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful product launches. To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc in Food Technology or a related discipline, with at least 3-5 years of experience in food or spice industry NPD. An in-depth understanding of spices, herbs, food ingredients, and seasoning applications is crucial, along with familiarity with FSSAI regulations, sensory analysis, and technical documentation. Your creativity, initiative, and strong coordination skills will be essential for success in this position. Your performance will be measured based on the number of new products launched, time-to-market for development projects, customer satisfaction with samples, and the cost-effectiveness and scalability of products and processes.
