The Role As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc. Should understanding of Instrumentation & Controls scope of work, project documentation, standards & guidelines before commencement of work. Exposure in instrumentation MMM projects, from basic engineering to detailed engineering and capable to support project execution, commissioning and handover. Experience to handle MMM proposal study and capable to prepare the query list, scope write-up and provide estimate by reviewing the RFP. Experience to deliver basic and detailed engineering deliverable for all instrumentation systems, including instrumentation specification, design documents and review design drawings. Preparation of Engineering Design Basis for Instruments and PCS, Review of P&ID, Instrument Index, I/O List, Cable/JB Block Diagram and other deliverables for Basic & Detailed engineering. Preparation of Data Sheet & specification for Field Instruments and Control systems, Network Architecture, Cause & Effect diagrams, Logic diagrams. Prepare Material Requisitions (MR), TBE and Purchase Requisition (PR). Conceptualize/prepare/review wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, control room layout, installation details, hook-up diagrams and level sketch. Experience in Junction Box (JB) grouping, JB wiring, cable schedule, Bulk Material Take-Off (MTO), cable level segregation, and conduit and cable tray selection and sizing. Experience in package engineering and capable to review and approve vendor data to ensure compliance with project requirements. Experience in reviewing 3D modelling using Navisworks or equivalent software and can guide & provide inputs to the designers. Should perform sizing calculation in InstruCalc, Conval or SPI sizing module for Flow Element, Valve, Thermowell. Capable of checking of deliverables as per project requirements and company standard. Hands-on experience in Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) for preparing instrument Index, data sheets, hook-up drawing, wiring diagram and loop drawings. Should have well versed in EDE and Query builder in SPI. Ensure effective communication among other engineering disciplines and manage changes effectively. Effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts to both engineers and designers. Ensure all instrumentation and control systems comply with safety, environmental, and industry regulations. About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes Bachelors degree in Instrumentation Engineering from recognized University / Institution. More than 12 years of rich experience Instrumentation engineering, preferably in MMM/ MH sector including DRI, Battery Minerals and Ferrous, Non-ferrous Refinery projects. Proficient in Smart Plant Instrumentation (version 2016 onwards) is a must. Proficient in using sizing softwares like InstruCalc, Conval or SPI sizing module. Proficient in reviewing 3D model using Navisworks. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISA, ASME, IEC, UL, CE, NEC & ATEX. About The Role Role: Service desk lead ? Do: - To support the service desk agents in prompt delivery & customer service - Advise and collaborate with the agents on current issues and works toward the resolution of tickets - Manage and coordinate escalated work orders from the ServiceDesk team that requires additional troubleshooting and follow-up - Coordinate with other IT teams as appropriate for closure of any escalated ticket - Act as a liaison between Service Desk and other teams to ensure effective communication between teams - To provide liaison and governance at both internal & client levels - Undertake a weekly review of the First Line Service Desk call queues to ensure no unauthorized changes & mitigation of escalations - Measure and report on service delivery performance metrics including customer satisfaction surveys and the incident tickets - Lead in the development of good customer service practices across the service desk - Produce statistics and management reports of the service desk to client & management - Communicate all process related changes and technical updates to the team within specific timelines to ensure adherence to service desk guidelines - Capacity planning and capability development - Conduct capacity planning exercise to provide number of agents, skill levels to meet the Account Service Desk process fulfilment - Conduct shift planning to meet the service requirements of the client as per SLAs agreed - Perform briefings to Service Desk agents on changes or deployments that may affect volumes at the Service Desk - Assist SD agents by providing first line support when workloads are high, or where additional experience is required - Develop team skills and capability in managing processes to reach the desired productivity and efficiency by conducting process training/ refresher courses, providing performance feedback and managing bottom quartile team performers. - Team Management - Resourcing - Forecast talent requirements as per the current and future business needs - Hire adequate and right resources for the team - Train direct reportees to make right recruitment and selection decisions - Talent Management - Ensure 100% compliance to Wipro's standards of adequate onboarding and training for team members to enhance capability &effectiveness - Build an internal talent pool of HiPos and ensure their career progression within the organization - Promote diversity in leadership positions - Performance Management - Set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals, and give constructive feedback to direct reports. - In case of performance issues, take necessary action with zero tolerance for will based performance issues - Ensure that organizational programs like Performance Nxt are well understood and that the team is taking the opportunities presented by such programs to their and their levels below - Employee Satisfaction and Engagement - Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team - Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team - Proactively challenge the team with larger and enriching projects/initiatives for the organization or team - Exercise employee recognition and appreciation ? ? ?
