Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in patients. This role requires a strong understanding of communication and swallowing challenges, as well as the ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication and swallowing abilities using a variety of standardized tests and clinical observations.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing exercises.
  • Therapy and Intervention: Provide therapy to improve patients' speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing skills using evidence-based techniques.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and audiologists, to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  • Education and Counseling: Educate patients and their families about the nature of speech and swallowing disorders, treatment options, and strategies for improving communication.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for patients' needs and rights in accessing speech and language services within the healthcare system.
  • Continuing Education: Stay current with the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology to provide high-quality care to patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
