As a strong and effective communicator, you must possess the ability to build trust, value others, and demonstrate high integrity. Your role will involve operating all audiometric equipment and administering diagnostic audiological tests for both adults and children, along with interpreting the results. Additionally, you should be capable of subjectively calibrating audiometers and impedance meters, while maintaining a working knowledge of the pathology of hearing and related speech disorders. In this position, you will be expected to counsel adults with hearing loss using client-centered approaches and stay updated on current and past hearing aid technologies. You must be proficient in fitting and verifying hearing aids and assistive devices for adults with hearing loss. Furthermore, you should be able to foster positive relationships with doctors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
