Speech and Language Therapist

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at ShelterArms Speech & Languages Therapy Center in Bengaluru, Karnataka, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in empowering children with developmental challenges through comprehensive therapeutic services. Your dedication towards assessing speech, language, voice, fluency, and feeding/swallowing difficulties in children will contribute towards creating personalized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs. Here are some key responsibilities that you will be expected to undertake: - Assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and feeding/swallowing difficulties in children. - Develop age-appropriate, individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's needs. - Provide one-on-one and group therapy for conditions such as articulation delay, language delay, stuttering, autism-related communication issues, and developmental speech disorders. - Utilize play-based and child-friendly therapy techniques to keep children engaged. - Educate and guide parents/caregivers on home-based support strategies and carryover activities. - Collaborate with pediatricians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and educators for a holistic approach. - Monitor and document therapy progress and modify goals as needed. - Participate in child development screenings, workshops, and awareness programs. Some required skills and qualifications for this position include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP / MASLP). - Full-time availability and willingness to work in person. - Experience level between 0 to 2 years.
