Role Overview We are looking for a committed Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher to guide students through their early years of the Cambridge curriculum. The ideal candidate should create an engaging, supportive classroom environment that fosters academic learning along with social and emotional growth. Key Responsibilities Deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary curriculum across core subjects. Act as the main point of contact for the class, overseeing students’ academic and personal development. Create lesson plans and teaching strategies that encourage inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom culture. Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians on students’ progress. Collaborate with other teachers and school leadership to enrich the learning experience. Assess, record, and report on student progress as per Cambridge standards. Organize and guide classroom activities, projects, and school events. Requirements Strong command over the English language (spoken and written). Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and colleagues. Leadership skills to manage the classroom effectively and inspire students. Bachelor’s degree (B.Ed or equivalent), preferably with specialization in Primary/Elementary Education. Prior teaching experience in a Cambridge or international school setup preferred. Child-focused, patient, and passionate about fostering holistic learning.
