Locations : Mumbai, Delhi / NCR, Bengaluru , Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Remote Job Summary : We are seeking a talented developer with expertise in React.js and Electron.js to build high-performance cross-platform desktop applications. You will be responsible for designing front-end components using React and integrating them into Electron-based desktop apps for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using Electron.js and React.js. - Build reusable React components and libraries for future use. - Ensure application responsiveness, performance, and stability across platforms. - Integrate APIs and manage state using tools like Redux, MobX, or React Context. - Implement native OS functionalities using Electrons main and renderer process. - Handle file system interactions, background processes, and secure packaging for desktop deployment. - Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver polished UI/UX. - Debug and fix cross-platform issues and performance bottlenecks. Required Skills : - Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and HTML/CSS. - In-depth experience with Electron.js and building desktop applications. - Familiarity with Node.js backend within the Electron architecture. - Knowledge of Electrons main/renderer processes, IPC, native modules, and packaging (e.g., electron-builder). - Experience with Redux, Webpack, Babel, and modern JavaScript tooling. - Understanding of OS-level APIs (file system, notifications, clipboard, etc. Preferred Skills : - Experience with TypeScript is a plus. - Familiarity with native modules or integrating C++/Rust libraries in Electron. - CI/CD tools for Electron (auto-update, build pipelines). - Knowledge of security best practices in Electron apps. - Experience with testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library, Spectron). Education : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
