As an Electrical Design Lead based in Jagiroad, Assam, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the specification, data sheet, and sizing of electrical equipment. You will be required to create SLDs and schematic diagrams, prepare load lists, conduct electrical calculations, develop cable schedules, and design electrical layouts. Your involvement in reviewing contract requirements, organizing technical document registers, and resolving discrepancies will be essential for project execution. Your responsibilities will also include checking design guidelines, preparing single-line diagrams, and conducting detailed calculations for electrical equipment. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 14 years of experience in designing, reviewing, and coordinating electrical systems in sectors such as infrastructure, industrial, FAB, semiconductor, data centers, and pharmaceuticals. Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, REVIT, ETAP, SEL, and other lighting software is required. A degree in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in designing electrical systems for manufacturing or process plants, particularly in the semiconductor industry, is highly preferred. Knowledge of 220 KV GIS, HV/MV/LV systems, VFD, UPS, DRUPS, and substation automation systems will be advantageous for this role. Your ability to collaborate with other engineering disciplines, participate in project-related workshops, and review subcontractor/vendor documents for technical compliance will be crucial for the successful execution of projects.
