Specialist, Quality Assurance Engineering

As a Specialist, Quality Assurance Engineering at Fiserv, you will engage in acceptance testing activities, participate in design sessions, create test deliverables, execute tests, and log defects. Your responsibilities will include reporting testing statuses, escalating issues to test management, monitoring and executing test activities across projects of varying sizes, and identifying and automating repetitive test scenarios to enhance efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide environment support services for specific applications and related modules. - Prepare test data for unit testing, regression testing, system testing, and production parallel testing. - Participate in daily status calls to discuss project updates. - Support batch testing and resolve any technical issues encountered. - Document and communicate defects to the team and stakeholders. - Assist in the creation of test plan artifacts. - Work in rotational shifts as required. **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of strong experience in a mainframe environment; proficient in TSO, ISPF, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and Endevor. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Strong understanding of CA tools such as CA7, CA-VIEW, etc. - Knowledge of file transmission tools such as FTP/NDM. - Adherence to standards and controls to ensure the quality of outcomes. - Proven technical analysis skills. - Excellent communication skills. *Note: The company Fiserv does not accept resume submissions from agencies outside of existing agreements.
