Specialist - EV CV Electrical Vehicle Integration

As a Layout and Packaging Engineer, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Layout and packaging of parts in vehicle DMU while considering functionality, assembly (DFA) / serviceability (DFS). - Conduct PLM (Teamcenter) release activities at various vehicle stages and handle UG NX 2D, 3D for drawing preparation and review. - Provide support to vehicle programs throughout their life cycle, including design, prototype builds, vehicle testing, and production. - Understand vehicle electrical architecture and assist in preparing circuit diagrams at the vehicle system level. - Coordinate with various cross-functional teams for testing, homologation, vehicle batches (Proto, Pilot, SOP), plant, and service. - Handle diagnostics such as CAN log analysis and flashing. - Prepare technical documents including Diagnostic manuals, standard operating procedures, and Homologation requirement documents. In terms of competencies, you should possess: Technical/ Functional Skills: - Good understanding of basic theories and design concepts of different electronics and electrical components used in EVs. - Proficiency in CAD, UG NX, or equivalent software. - Experience with Product Lifecycle Management. - Knowledge of applicable standards/regulations and their application for EVs. - Understanding of vehicle harness design considerations, wire size selection, power connectors, and vehicle electrical insulation requirements. Your required skills for this role include expertise in Electrical Drawing and Engine Assembly. Additional Information: For specific expertise, you are expected to have experience in Product Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., Teamcenter), CAD like UG NX or equivalent, EV electrical architecture, vehicle integration, and CAN communication. A Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics / E&TC, with knowledge in Electric vehicles and their energy systems/ machines, is preferred.,
