Classroom Instruction: Teach academic and life skills using age-appropriate, multi-sensory methods. Modify the curriculum based on the child's disability (autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, etc.). Behavior and Emotional Support: Support positive behavior management and emotional regulation in the classroom. Use appropriate techniques to address challenging behaviors. Collaboration with Therapists and Families: Work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists. Guide and counsel parents on supporting their child’s learning at home. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and classroom activities. Prepare reports for parent meetings, assessments, and institutional reviews. Inclusive and Skill-Based Education: Integrate vocational training , daily living skills, and functional academics into lessons. Encourage peer interaction and inclusive practices within the school environment. Participation in School Activities: Organize and support school-level events, awareness days, and community engagement programs. Attend training sessions and workshops for professional development.
