Special Educator teacher

As a Special Educator, you will be responsible for providing dedicated and passionate support to students with special needs. Your primary focus will be on delivering individualized instruction, accommodations, and emotional support to ensure the academic, social, and emotional growth of each student. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. You will provide specialized instruction, accommodations, and modifications to support students" learning, conduct assessments, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a cohesive support system. Additionally, you will maintain open communication with parents, keeping them informed about student progress and involving them in the educational process. Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment will be essential for effective classroom management. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, along with Special Education certification or license. Previous experience working with students with special needs and possessing excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience with diverse special needs, such as autism, ADHD, or physical disabilities, and familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment are preferred qualifications.
