Job Description

Health Basix is looking for a special educator who can work in a school setting.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Special Educator:

Diploma or B. Ed or Masters in Special Education courses are mandatory.
Identify the learning and adaptive functioning issues the students face during school hours.
Conduct a formal or informal assessment to understand the academic and behavioral functioning of the students during school hours.
Plan and develop I.E.P.s with parents and concerned subject teachers for students.
Work with students based on the I.E.P. developed by you.
Refer students for formal assessments outside the school in case of requirement.
Conduct workshops, on request by the school, on topics related to inclusion and education for students with special needs.
Have parent meetings to discuss the progress and current functioning of the students.
Discuss the student's progress with the concerned class and subject teachers.

Qualifications: B. Ed in Special Education, M. Ed In Special Education, RCI Diploma in Special Education

Location : Bandlaguda Jagir, Hyderabad

Experience: 6 months to 1 year With RCI
