Job Opening: Special Educator Location: Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary School (DMHSS) Position Type: Full-Time Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary School (DMHSS) is inviting applications for the position of a Special Educator who is passionate about inclusive education and has a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs. Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in working with children with learning disabilities, developmental delays, or other special educational needs. A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (B.A. Psychology) from a recognized university. Knowledge of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans), behavior modification techniques, and adaptive teaching strategies. Compassionate, patient, and committed to the progress of every child. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with class teachers, parents, and counselors. Roles & Responsibilities: Identify and assess students with special needs. Develop and implement customized teaching plans and interventions. Work closely with classroom teachers to ensure integration and support. Maintain documentation of student progress and share regular feedback with parents. Create an environment that fosters confidence, emotional well-being, and academic development.
