As a skilled and detail-oriented Modular Furniture Production Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing and producing modular furniture systems. Your expertise in B Cabinet or Spazio3D, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel, will be crucial in transforming client requirements into production-ready drawings and specifications. Your role will involve seamless coordination with the production team to maintain a high level of design accuracy. Your key responsibilities will include developing detailed modular furniture designs and production drawings using B Cabinet or Spazio3D, creating and modifying technical drawings in AutoCAD, preparing accurate cutting lists and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for production, utilizing Excel for cost estimation and materials planning, and collaborating with design, procurement, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. You will also conduct site measurements, optimize designs for material efficiency and aesthetic appeal, maintain documentation for revisions and client approvals, and proactively identify and resolve production-related design issues. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience in modular furniture design and production, proficiency in B Cabinet or Spazio3D, strong knowledge of AutoCAD, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, an excellent understanding of modular joinery, fittings, and hardware systems, the ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings, and be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and in a collaborative environment with good communication and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field, experience working in a factory production environment or with a modular furniture manufacturer.
