Robotics Instructor - PART TIME Position Overview. The Robotics Workshop Instructor is responsible for teaching and guiding participants in a robotics workshop, focusing on hands-on learning and practical application of robotics concepts. The position is part time, working remotely requiring the prospective candidate to work 6 To 9 PM EST on weekdays and 9 AM to 9 PM on week ends on a flexible time mentoring young engineers Key Responsibilities: 1. *Conduct Workshops*: Lead robotics workshops for participants, covering topics like robot design, coding, and operation. 2. *Teach Robotics Concepts*: Explain and demonstrate robotics principles, tools, and techniques to participants. 3. *Hands-on Guidance*: Provide hands-on guidance and support to participants working on robotics projects. 4. *Safety and Best Practices*: Emphasize safety and best practices during robotics design, building, and operation. Required Qualifications 1.Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring young students In STEM or Robotics education and Strong understanding of robotics, coding, and engineering principles.. 3. Proficiency with robotics platforms (e.g., VEX Robotics, LEGO Mindstorms, Arduino) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Scratch). 4.Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. 5.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with students, parents, and staff.
