Role & responsibilities Tool & Fixture Management : Maintain, issue, and track tools, jigs, and fixtures required for CNC machine operations. Prototype Support : Assist in the preparation and setup of tools and fixtures for new part trials and prototype development. Drawing Interpretation : Read and understand engineering and part drawings to support fixture planning and tool readiness. Tool Room Operations : Perform basic tool rework, minor fixture fabrication, and manage the tool room layout for easy access and organization. CNC Team Support : Coordinate with CNC programmers and operators to ensure the correct tools are available for new and existing jobs. Preventive Care : Carry out routine checks and minor maintenance of frequently used tools and fixtures.
