Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics within the automotive industry. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of operations to drive efficiency and enhance productivity across various departments.

Duties

  • Oversee supply chain management processes to ensure optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to improve service delivery and operational performance.
  • Implement effective warehouse management practices to streamline inventory control and logistics.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to enhance production processes and equipment repair protocols.
  • Maintain proficiency in ERP systems for data entry, inventory management, and order management systems.
  • Conduct demand planning and pricing strategies to align with market trends and customer needs.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards in all operations, particularly in forklift operation and shipping & receiving activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Lead procurement management efforts, sourcing materials efficiently while maintaining budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics within the automotive sector is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier management.
  • Familiarity with automotive service processes, including auto body repair and OEM standards.
  • Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding equipment repair requirements.
  • Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for effective maintenance scheduling.
  • Experience with AS400 systems is a plus for managing inventory control processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and inventory management tasks.
