As a Senior Teacher for Spanish at Neev, your role involves educating students in alignment with the Neev curriculum guidelines and school requirements. You will be responsible for tailoring courses and lessons to meet the individual academic needs of students, developing lesson plans using various teaching techniques, and creating a positive and stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors. - Plan and develop courses of study according to Neev curriculum guidelines and school requirements. - Tailor courses and lessons to meet the individual needs of students based on their academic abilities and prior achievements. - Develop and present lesson plans using a variety of teaching models and techniques. - Plan and organize the indoor and outdoor environment to ensure a creative and stimulating context for learning. - Prepare resources to support the delivery of the curriculum both indoors and outdoors. - Monitor and assess students" progress continuously, prepare assignments, tests, and homework. - Maintain discipline and ensure child safety standards in classrooms, on the school campus, and during bus duties. - Create a safe, secure, and healthy educational environment on campus and during field trips. - Provide pastoral support to students facing academic or personal challenges. - Keep parents informed of students" progress by maintaining records and participating in parent-teacher conferences. - Support student clubs, activities, field trips, and school events. - Stay updated on educational trends and developments by attending faculty meetings and engaging in educational opportunities. - Fulfill invigilation duties for Senior School teachers for up to 10 hours per year. Qualifications Required: - Post-Graduate Degree, PGDIE/CIDTL/B.Ed. preferred. - Previous experience as a Teacher or Senior Teacher in Spanish. - Effective communication skills and the ability to positively impact others. - Cultural awareness and respect for differences. - Commitment to personal and professional development to achieve the mission and values of Neev. - Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams. - Willingness to adapt to change and contribute to continuous improvement in a socially responsible manner. - Familiarity with the IB's strategic plan and its alignment with Neev's mission.,
