The candidate is responsible for overseeing projects aligned with customer technical requirements and timelines. Key duties include understanding the product portfolio, managing customization needs, coordinating with local teams and HQ, and serving as the primary interface between customers in India and the HQ Program Management Office to ensure effective communication and project alignment. Key Responsibilities: Local Responsibilities Product customization and industrialization of locally produced electric fans. Lead technical discussions and negotiate product configurations with local customers, ensuring proactive alignment of requirements. Collaborate with the local Quality team for supplier qualification, APQP/PPAP, and product validation activities. Interface with the local Technical Office, Quality, and Commercial departments for projects developed locally in India. Plan and monitor projects, ensuring compliance with timing, cost, and quality targets. HQ Coordination Responsibilities The India PM interfaces with the HQ PMO, who coordinates all internal functions at HQ (R&D, Operations, Quality, PMO). Ensure smooth communication and alignment between local customers and HQ team. Cross-Functional Responsibilities Regularly report project KPIs and progress to local stakeholders and to the PMO HQ. Promote continuous improvement initiatives, perform risk analysis, and drive mitigation plans to guarantee smooth project execution. Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. At least 5 years experience in Project Management, preferably in the automotive sector or related industries. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and FMEA methodologies. Experience with electric motors or cooling fans will be considered a plus. Previous experience in international companies headquartered in Europe will be considered a strong asset. Skills Required: Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken (Italian is an advantage). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong negotiation skills with customers on requirements, product configuration, and timing. Good computer skills, familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems. Teamwork orientation, ability to manage relationships with colleagues and suppliers, autonomy in decision-making, and efficient time management. Other Availability for travel, both to HQ in Italy and to local customers, is required.
