Job Purpose: Lead the design and engineering execution of the piping section for domestic and international FEED & Details engineering projects within the John Cockerill Hydrogen (JCH2) business line. Contribute as a key member of the JCH2 team to achieve operational excellence and support the growth objectives of the organization globally. Key Result Areas: Oversee piping engineering for water electrolysis-based Green Hydrogen plants. Optimize layouts to reduce CAPEX (Capital Expenditure). Participate in in-house project review meetings. 3D Model Expertise: Possess thorough knowledge of 3D modeling processes, tools, and procedures. Guide modelers for the preparation of 3D models of Green Hydrogen plants. Lead the review of 3D models to ensure compliance with: Clients / Project specifications. Maintenance and accessibility of all Mechanical equipment (Rotary, Static, Packages), Instruments, piping, and electricals. Model review comments from PMC/Client, etc. Required Skills & Qualifications: Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering . Experience: At least 15-18 years of experience in the EPC, oil & gas sector (ideally also in hydrogen). Good experience in working on SP3D, E3D/PDMS, Plant 3D software, and AutoCAD . Role & responsibilities Review the ITT (Invitation To Tender) documents provided in the proposals, evaluate the drafting scope and prepare / review the Bill of material, identify technical queries (TQs) as applicable. Experience in SMART SKETCH, Cable Trench/Tray Routing Layout, Lighting & Small Power Layout, Earthing Layout, Sub-station equipment Layout, Lighting calculation, ENMCS (Electrical Network and Monitoring control system Prepare and review various estimates like Bill of quantities, Man-hours, Software requirements during proposals /projects. Provide engineering input to proposals like risk register, project execution plan, manning levels / histograms, identify probable optimizations during proposals / projects etc. Collate inputs from all concerned and compile Technical Document Register (TDR) and align it with the scope of work. Review basis of design, design guidelines, specifications, Data Sheets, equipment layout, Hazardous area classifications, typical installation standards and other relevant documents. Primary Skill set / Mandatory Software: SP3D/E3D/PDMS/AUTO CAD/MicroStation. Education Qualification : 6 - 18 years of experience, Diploma / ITI (Electrical Engineering)
