Role & responsibilities 3+ years experience as SP3D Admin. Experience of handling minimum 2 mid size / big SP3D projects from scratch to closure / project handover. Should have hands on experience as below: • New Project creation in SP3D. • Restoration of SP3D Project from backup. • Define PBS / WBS • Naming rule configuration / Name generator server configuration • Roles assignment for user for Projects. • Piping Specification creation using paper Spec. • Template customization for Isometric drawings, Piping GA / Layout, All MTOs and other layouts • Hangers and Support Customization • Symbol Customization • Drawings and Reports Customization •SP3D DB upgrade, merging and migration •Import 3D models from other 3D platforms •Familiar with Custom Commands •Experience with Global workshare setup, preferred • Regular Plant backup creation. •SPR / Navis work experience Nice to have : Knowledge of E3D Admin, CAD Worx Admin, AutoCAD Plant 3D Admin, Other Smart Plant Plant and AVEVA Tools Nice to Have : Experience with SPIOP and Integration with other tools

Required Candidate profile 3D Engg in Plant 3D, Cadworx, AutoCAD 3D.Responsible for 3D Tool activites Client coordination & overall focal point for 3D admin.knw of Piping Material, Piping spec,std like ASME, API, ASTM, EU.

A SP3D (SmartPlant 3D) Administrator manages and maintains the SP3D environment, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards. Responsibilities include setting up and configuring the system, managing databases and user access, developing templates, troubleshooting, and training . Key Responsibilities: System Administration: Setting up, configuring, and customizing the SP3D environment. Database Management: Managing SP3D databases, project structures, and user access controls. Technical Support: Providing support to engineering teams for SP3D-related issues. Project Management: Managing SP3D projects from initiation to delivery. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and project requirements. Training and Mentorship: Training and mentoring junior team members on SP3D best practices. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues within the SP3D environment. Project Setup and Support: Assisting with the setup and management of SP3D projects. Customization: Developing and maintaining SP3D project templates, catalogs, and specifications. Data Management: Ensuring data integrity and security within the SP3D environment. Performance Monitoring: Monitoring system performance and making recommendations for improvements. Skills and Experience: SP3D Expertise: Significant experience with SmartPlant 3D administration, including hands-on experience with project setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Database Management: Experience managing databases, particularly within the SP3D ,E3D environment. Engineering Knowledge: Understanding of engineering design principles and practices. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with engineering teams and other stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address technical issues and challenges. Project Management: Experience managing projects, particularly those involving SP3D. Training and Mentoring: Ability to train and mentor others on SP3D best practices. BIM Knowledge: Experience with other BIM (Building Information Modeling) packages is often advantageous. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards, particularly in fields like Oil & Gas.

Minimum 8-15 years of experience in administration of the S3D projects with Hexagon S3D tool, mainly for the Chemical, Petrochemical and Refinery plants of medium and large size Manage project 3D Administration & related task for all the engineering disciplines. Experience on developed & configuration desired PBS and Naming rules as per project requirements for all disciplines. Experience on configuration to develop DRC (Design Rule checks) service within S3D environment for all disciplines Setting up S3D project in Global Work share and Standalone in Physical and virtual environment. Create project backups and restore the model, catalog and drawing data. Database knowledge (Oracle, MS SQL) desirable Creation of Custom Catalog and specification from the Bulk Load sheets S3D for all Engineering disciplines i.e. Piping/Electrical/Instrumentation/CSA Customization Drawing Template and Report creation Creation of View Styles, Graphic Rules, Label Rules. Creation of COM as well as SQL labels and advance SQL queries. Proficient in setup and integration of 3D Design Review Tools of such as Smart Plant Review, Navisworks, UPV etc. Setup Fabrication Isometric, Stress Isometric, Tracing Isometric Setting of IFC and Rule checker services User level troubleshooting/Support in S3D on multiple tasks Experience on SPF/SDx is added advantage Experience Required 8+ years as Smart 3D Administrator.
