In this role, you will be responsible for performing internal system audits and risk assessments of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) applications within scope. This includes coordinating and facilitating internal and external audits, following up on audit issues responses, action plans, and remediation efforts. Your focus will primarily be on testing ITACs and ITGCs to identify any deficiencies in the controls implemented by management. You should have a basic knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as COBIT. You will work directly with Control and Process Owners to ensure understanding and knowledge of SOX processes and procedures to fulfill audit requests. Additionally, you will be identifying risks to the organization while engaging vendors to assist in the development, management, access management, transmission, and storage of organizational information assets. Conducting facilitated trainings on various ITGC concepts and handling walkthrough calls will also be part of your responsibilities. Your profile should include expertise in SOX, ITGC, internal audit, and external audit.
