You will be responsible for independently handling event projects with end-to-end event planning and execution. This includes coordinating suppliers, handling client queries, and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will be in charge of on-ground production & execution of the client brief as per deliverables. Your role will involve planning and supervision, which includes making budgets, creative supervision, quality control, assigning roles to team members, risk management, and problem-solving. You will also be responsible for implementing and coordinating events, including day-to-day operations and back-office work. As a Sr. Manager - Production, you should secure venues, conduct recees, plan costing, handle set up, manage stage, decor, event flow, guest relations, promoters, etc. It is essential to have technical knowledge about sound, light, and AV vendors. Developing and managing relationships with internal and external suppliers will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. You are expected to develop a policy for handling and analyzing third-party costs to reduce overheads, budget for events, and maintain event PnL. Moreover, you will lead a team and be a strong team leader. The ideal candidate should possess thorough knowledge of event setups such as sound, light, staging, etc. You should have 4 to 5 years of experience in event management and activations, with excellent knowledge of production. A good network of vendors, ability to work effectively in stressful situations, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication skills are essential. Leadership skills, ability to multitask, and self-direction are also required.
